I don't know if I am a photographer who loves marketing or a marketer who loves photography; but both is what I do! I have been in marketing since I started my first lawn mowing business at 13 where I showed potential clients my work using my first Polaroid camera. I have spent my entire career telling stories and I have focused the last decade telling those stories with a camera in my hand. If you need a marketing consultant or a photographer/videographer, let's talk. If you need both, let's talk sooner :)
I grabbed a camera to help sell product. It was a necessity, not a passion. It quickly became a passion once I realized how valuable a tool it was for marketing. It became my life's core passion once I realized the thrill of capturing something that moved someone. If one person "liked" an image, it was incredibly satisfying. It's like telling a story that brings someone to tears, but with a camera. It's just who I am now.
Finding new and innovative ways to move products and services is what I do. It's what I have always done. It's what I want to do and likely always will. I love the challenge of matching up suppliers and customers. It's where I have spent 30+ years. If your company needs guidance, strategy, execution and/or better and more story telling, that's what I do!
The old expression "find what you love to do and you will never work a day in your life" is a cute expression but can be misleading. I have truly found my passion but it's thru lots of hard work that it has become my livelihood. I have been thru a couple large corporate bankruptcies and been an integral part of the turnarounds. The lessons I learned thru those dark and trying days is what guides me on my current journey.
